The strongest aspect of my work is my choice of color. I just about got his skin tone the exact color. His lip color is almost exact to his real lip color. The weakest aspect of my work is my suit shirt color. The suit shirt was supposed to be a faint green with a grayish color mixed with it. I completely messed it up. It's not the center piece, but it does draw too much attention. Unfortunately, I didn't realize the mistake I had made until I was late in the project.
The easiest part of this assignment, was picking my person to make a pop art of. I instantly chose Ray Charles. As soon as we had to choose a famous person, Charles was the first person I thought of. And the image that I chose was really easy to pick out , out of the many that were given. The most difficult part of this assignment was using the pen tool. The pen tool is completely different to what we have been using to cut out images. But I was finally alb to figure it out and cut out my picture.
I feel that I demonstrated the objective of the assignment. The objective was to use the pen tool and to make a pop art image of a famous person. I used masks and clipping paths to make my pop art image. If I were to do this assignment again, I would choose a different person, like Frankie Valley. But for the most part everything would be the same.

Animorph Assignment 7
The strongest aspect of my work, is where I put my animal and how I blended him in with light and dark splotches. My use of the bear nose, mixed in with the deer's face is a strong quality of my work. The weakest aspect of my work is my animals legs. In the original picture that I used the deer's legs were cut off, so I had to do my best to cover up the legs in the woodland picture. Also My placement of the deer is a bit bad. It was the only spot on the image that I could cover up some of the poorer parts of the animal. I wanted to push the animal a little bit further back, but that would have cut off the animals antlers more than it does peeking behind the trees. The antlers are the biggest piece of the work and without them, it would look like a bear sheep or something like that.
The easiest part of this assignment was shading my creature into the picture. I used the burn tool and the dodge tool to darken and lighten the creature. With the ray of sunlight, I went really light on the antlers because I felt that the antlers reflecting the sunlight looked more mystical. I darkened the lower half of the body and the end quarters of the body, because those were the darkest areas in the background image. The most difficult part of this assignment was combining the two animals into one creature. Only because I wasn't too sure how I was going to do it and due to complications with the stamp tool.
I feel I demonstrated the objective of this assignment. I combined two animals to make one hybrid creature. I used the stamp tool to get the fur of the bear and the face of the bear. I used the burn tool and the dodge tool to darken and lighten my creature. And I set a mystical background for my creature to live in. If I were to do this assignment again, I probably would've chosen two different animals. But I would definitely still do the morph of a predator and its prey. I'm very happy with the outcome of my work. I don't really think anything would change if I were to redo this assignment.

Assignment 6
The strongest aspect of my work, is my use of opacity. While doing this assignment, I copied numerous layers of one black bar and spaced it out from top to bottom. I changed the opacity from one hundred to 42 and one hundred to 32. The first bar is 42 and the second bar is 32. I feel that this makes the work bolder and almost maybe pop out. The weakest aspect of my work, is my use of color. In the beginning I planned on using black and white as my two colors. As I got further into the assignment, I decided that it needed something else, because the two colors didn't really do much to the project, I decided that I would try to use opacity on something to give it a boldness or something to that extent. But even after I did that the colors are still dull and not very flashy, but thats just my artistic style.
The easiest part of this assignment was creating my design. Because we were using squares and circles, it made it easier to create something or imaging what I wanted to create. I didn't really know at first what I want to do, but when I made my first shape, I knew what I was going to do. The most difficult part of this assignment, was trying to make the work stand out or be original. Though mine doesn't stand out so much, it is still original and has qualities that others might not have on their works.
I feel I demonstrated the objective of this assignment. I organized my layers and put them into groups to better organize my work. I used the opacity to lighten areas of my work and also darken areas of the work. I used the marquee tools to make shapes and create my assignment. If I were to do this project again, I don't think that I would do anything different. I might change around some shapes and play around with the opacity. But at the end of it, I would probably have the same piece of work that I have now.

Assignment 5
The strongest aspect of my work, are the polaroids. I feel that the polaroids are very well placed. Almost none of the polaroids are overlapping in the same way. None of the polaroids are lined up next to each other while being overlapped. The weakest aspect of my work, is my background and my 3-D effect. When I began this project, I made the width too small. The picture engulfs the frame and it would have been easier to work in the background, with a larger frame. The 3-D is also not too impressive. Though it is done like it's supposed to be, the stick just seems out of place. I don't particularly like how the polaroid is parallel to the stick, that is something I would have changed.
The easiest part of this assignment, was overlapping the polaroids. It didn't have to be neat, you could just throw them on there and you would be completing the objective. It was nice to have everything cluttered for once in a project. There didn't have to be equal spacing, you could just pile the polaroids up in one area and to looks nice. The most difficult part of the assignment, was the background. Because my frame is so small, I didn't have that much to work with. I would have put more into the background, but the frame was too small and it would have made the background worse.
I demonstrated the objective of this activity by overlapping the polaroids to make give the impression, that these pictures were just thrown on a table or countertop. I used the wand tool to give the impression that the stick is being launched out of the polaroids onto the background. If I could do this project again, I would have definitely made the frame a lot larger in the it's width. The width limited my ability to put things in the background. I would have also tried to add more polaroids into the picture along the borders of the picture itself. Some areas had to be cut out so the background could be seen. Changing the one polaroid so that the stick is overlapping it and they are not parallel, is another change I would make to this assignment.

Tattoo Artist Assignment 4
Artist Reflection: The strongest technical aspect of my work is my ability to shade my tattoo and picture together. I feel i did a pretty good job of shading my tattoo into my models arm. Though the darkness of the shade is not perfect, I find it covers the end of the tattoo and gives it the impression that it wraps around the arm. A technical aspect that could be approved, would be my ability to shape the tattoo to the models arm. I found it difficult to warp the tattoo to the shape of the man's arm. I probably should have shaped it larger to cover up more of his arm.
The easiest part about this assignment was finding the model arm that I wanted. I didn't want a super muscular arm, but the arm of an everyday common man. Other easy parts of the assignment was the shading. Because of the type of picture that I used, the lighting mixed very well with the tattoo when I turned everything to black and white. The most difficult part of this project was the warping of the tattoo. It was pretty hard to make the tattoo to look like it was wrapping around the arm. I had many trial and errors when doing this. The first time I did it, I erased too much of the tattoo. So I had to stretch it out. After I did that, I cut again, but it was still too short. Finally after the third time, I was able to wrap the tattoo around my models arm pretty well.
I demonstrated this assignment by using many of the tools photoshop has to offer. I brightened highlights by using the dodge tool and darkened the highlights using the burn tool. Using the warp transformation ,I was able to shape and wrap the tattoo around the models arm. I erased some excess tattoo on areas not on the body. I rotated and changed the size of the tattoo to give it the most realistic look I could. If I were to do this assignment again, I probably would do multiple tattoos. Maybe give the model a half or full sleeve. I'd probably shade the tattoo with more precision as well.

United Imagery Assignment 3
The strongest aspect of my work in this assignment, would be the blending of my background and my midground. I took my background and cut out an area to put my middle ground in. Once I put in my middle ground, I sent the image to the back making it look like one picture. I then used the smudge tool to smudge the edges of the pictures together. The aspect of work that I need to work on, is the foreground picture. The picture is so blurry, that it makes the work fall apart. You can clearly see that the men walking, are a separate picture. I should have also focused more on cutting out the foreground.
What was easiest about the assignment, is the mixing of the background and the mid ground. I didn't really have to work that hard on joining the two pictures. Thankfully the two pictures that I chose, mixed very well at the edges. I was lucky to find two pictures that either are in the same jungle territory, or are the same jungle. The most difficult part of this assignment was putting in the foreground. It was hard to find a picture of men marching in the jungle. A lot of the pictures weren't on paths, but in the work, my middle ground is a path. A lot of the pictures were of the Vietnam war and weren't that good for my assignment. What was also difficult, was trying to make the foreground blend into the middle and background. Cutting out the foreground had to be very precise and I began to get careless.
I feel I demonstrated this assignment as best I could. I feel I used all of the tools available to their fullest potential. I used the smudge tool to blend in the all the layers. If I could do this assignment again, I would definitely change my foreground. The picture is just terrible quality. I probably wouldn't have put in marching men. I would have put in maybe an animal or two walking across the path, or something to that extent. It would change the realness of the picture greatly. The picture would look much better.

Personal Identity Assignment 2
I don't believe I have any strong aspect in this work. I didn't really connect to the assignment that much. I just couldn't find enough pictures for my identity. I only really have two things to my character; hockey, military, and history. The weakest aspect of my work is the entire thing. The entire thing is weak. I just wasn't really feeling the assignment. I couldn't think of anything to do. I tried to add different types of pictures, but they all came up blurry or didn't make any sense. It was just all around bad.
The easiest part about this assignment was the coloring. That was the easiest, all you had to do was not let two same colors touch each other. It didn't take that much effort, but it was tedious. Some small nooks and cracks in the picture, tested you, but thats about it. The most difficult part of this assignment, was adjusting where all the pictures go. It was just a little annoying. Everything had to be in the middle of the whole picture and barely anything could be in the corners.
I don't believe I showed effectively the objective of the assignment. Like I said three times before, I did a bad job on this assignment. This assignment was just not my cup of tea. I did understand the objective, but I just couldn't hit it off on this one. I don't think I would do anything differently if given another shot on this assignment. I didn't really care for it too much. It's just not my art style. The way everything needs to be placed, the color scheme, the color positioning, it just isn't how I like to be artistic. I like using colors that are supposed to be in the picture. I like putting pictures in the corner and push more images in towards the center. I'm not a fan of changing how the picture looked originally.

Assignment 1
The strongest aspect of my woe in this assignment, is how I made the X's into a chain link fence design. Because this was the first assignment, I wasn't really into school yet. I was still asleep a little and continued to say to myself "I'll continue this tomorrow". The weakest aspect of my work, is the sloppiness. This work is just all over the place bad. Thankfully, this was the first assignment, so I have a somewhat valid excuse.
The easiest part of this assignment was thinking of a design for my work. I just knew that I wanted a certain design. The hardest part of this assignment was picking the letter I wanted to use. I was just continuing to change my mind on what I wanted to do. It was just a big mess.
I don't believe I demonstrated the objective that well. My project was just a last minute put it together, get on to the next one, type of project. I used some tools, but for the most part I just rotated them and changed their sizes. If I were to do this project again, I would try to do something different, but odds are I would just put out the same bad work with a different letter.
